Trimmer Cord Management: The tool-less trimmer head is designed for quick changes. To get the best results in heavy brush, ensure you are using the thicker .155 or .175 mil cord; thinner cords will snap prematurely in dense vegetation.

Trimmer vs. Blade: For standard weeds and tall grass, use the trimmer cord. If you encounter woody brush or saplings, upgrade to the DuraBlade or Beaver Blade attachment to prevent excessive cord wear and maximize your efficiency.

Terrain Navigation: The front 4″ mow-ball allows the nose of the trimmer to "float" over uneven ground. Keep an eye on this component; it is designed to take the brunt of the contact with the ground, protecting the cast aluminum nose plate from damage.
